Papa and Miles. Check out that chunky little guy!
Papa and Logan... Logan was supposed to be in the bed. She thinks it's great fun to watch tv with papa when she's supposed to be asleep.
Hanging out on the floor for a little 'tummy time.'
I hope all you moms had a nice Mother's Day. I certainly did and I can't wait to start enjoying my new coffee pot! I can now make a cup of coffee whenever with just the press of a button!

sprinkler fun
With the weather being warm, we got the sprinkler out for a little fun. Needless to say, Logan had a blast!
The water is a little chilly!
Pimento cheese sandwiches are best a little bit soggy.

Check out those sunglasses. They're still missing a lens.

One of Logan's very favorite things to do is to go outside. This girl would stay outside forever if we'd let her!
She loves these glasses. She insists on wearing them even though one lens is missing. One would think it would hurt your eyes to wear them like this... I suppose fashion comes before comfort!

Miles had his one month checkup on April 20th, so he was actually 5 weeks old. He weighed 11lbs 3oz (75%)
He's definitely a little chunker. He's starting to get some super cute leg rolls on his thighs! He is still doing well with Prevacid for his reflux. He continues to be a good sleeper. Last night, he slept from 9:30-4:30am straight! He's still sleeping in the bouncy seat, but hopefully soon he'll be in the crib! He started smiling at five weeks and has been 'talking' a lot, too. He is really alert and aware during the daytime and has such a sweet disposition. Logan still loves her 'baby brother' and talks about him all the time. I picked her up from mdo last week and when Miles and I walked in, a little girl in her class said, "There's baby brother!"

4 weeks old!
Miles is 4 weeks old today. He's definitely gaining weight as it is evident from his newly acquired double chin. =) He has recently been diagnosed with reflux and we are now on the second medication to help control it. He has not been able to lie flat so he is sleeping in his bouncy chair. Thankfully, this makes him happy and he continues to sleep about 3-3.5hr stretches at night. He is starting to stay awake for longer periods of time during the day. He enjoys kicking his legs and waving his arms. Since he was about a week and a half, he has been rolling to his side. We feel confident he is going to be a busy little guy. He is working hard on gaining control of his head, too. Logan is still enjoying 'baby brother' and wants to know where he is if she notices he's not in the room.

Several people have asked me what it's like having two kids. Honestly, it's been very easy so far. The reason being is that someone has been home with us the entire time. The first week it was my mom. The second week it was Jordan's mom and this week Jordan is at home with us. Because I had a c-section, I've been strongly encouraged by my ob to not lift Logan if I don't have to. So, I have a feeling once 6 weeks are up and I'm on my own with the kids, my answer may be a little different!
Logan has been thrilled to have her daddy home with her all week. We took her to a place called, 'Monkey Joes' on Wednesday. This was Logan's first time at a place like this. Needless to say, she loved it and didn't want to leave! She thoroughly enjoyed going down the slides on her belly and jumping and laughing. She loved it even more because Jordan had to go down some of the slides with her. I'm sure we'll be returning to 'Monkey Joes' in the very near future!
On Thursday, Logan had an Easter egg hunt at preschool. Sadly, it rained so they had to do it in the gym. However, Logan wasn't phased by this. She thought it was great fun to pick up eggs. She also enjoyed opening them to see what was inside.
On another note, we have started Miles on Zantac. We suspect he has reflux. The poor buddy has some major spitting up issues that are getting worse. =( We are hoping the medicine will help him. Maybe by next week we'll be able to tell a difference.
Her preferred method of sliding.
