A trip to the zoo, mall and target! This boy already loves to go! Because I was getting a little bit of cabin fever, mom took us to the mall to eat at 'chic-fil-a' last week. Logan loves 'chic-fil-a' and had a great time and Miles slept. Jordan is off this week so yesterday, we went to the zoo. It was a beautiful day and we thoroughly enjoyed walking around. Miles also slept the majority of the time. Logan had a great time riding the train with daddy. Today, I took Miles for a weight check to the pediatrician, my 2 week checkup and target. Miles now weighs 8lbs 2oz. Last Monday, he was 7lbs. I'd say he's definitely gaining weight! And now that I'm 2 weeks postpartum, it was okay for me to drive today. It was nice to get out of the house on my own. My 2 week checkup went great. My dr said my incision looks good and that I'll see him again in a month. Miles, like his big sister, has decided that he likes Target. That's a good thing since his mama can't go a week without going!

Logan didn't want to wear her hat. She much prefers daddy's.
If you look closely, you can see Miles underneath Logan.

This girl loves the train!

Wow, this is definitely not a good picture of me.... Miles got tired of riding in the stroller. He loves to ride in the sling!

new pictures

Miles is now a week and a day old. He is a sweet, sweet boy. He sleeps well at night; going for stretches of 3-4 hours at the time. He had his one week checkup yesterday and is about 7lbs right now and everything looks good. Logan also had her 2 yr checkup yesterday. She's about 28lbs and 33 3/4 in long (pretty much the 50% percentile for both.) She's also doing great. We've had lots of help from both of our mothers. Last week, my mom stayed with us and this week, Jordan's mom is staying with us. It definitely is nice to have an extra hand!

Caught with Miles's pacifier
Each time she sees a pacifier lying around, she has to flavor it. Don't worry, I don't give it back to Miles! ;)

She loves her 'baby brother.'
Here's Miles looking a little yellow. He is slightly jaundiced, but it's getting better each day.

How could I forget?!

I almost forgot to mention that I'll be birthin' a baby on Monday morning! Can you believe it's already time?! We have to be at the hospital bright and early, 5:30am. Surgery is scheduled for 7:30am. My bag is all packed and ready to go. I'm pretty much ready, although nervous about having surgery.

Stay tuned for pictures!

She's definitely a girly-girl!

Guess who has been requesting to wear hair bows?! Oh yes, she's definitely a girly-girl! My mother will be relieved to know that her hair bow-buying obsession is finally paying off. Logan has so many bows but would never keep them in her 'hair.' I use the term hair lightly because she doesn't have much of it! Logan even wore a bow to school this week and left it in the whole time! Poor Jordan... pretty soon Logan is going to want to play princess dress-up! =)

Happy 2nd Birthday to Logan!

Logan celebrated her 2nd birthday yesterday! It's hard to believe she's already two! She had a big day. She had a little celebration at school and last night we took her to Chic-fil-a (one of her favorite places to eat. ) A little side note about Chic-fil-a... I'm a very proud mother. Whenever we drive by Chic-fil-a, she starts saying 'chic-fil-a,' fry, ketchup, and sauce. At least she doesn't know what McDonald's is! =) Last weekend, we had a little party for her. She was extremely excited and provided lots of entertainment for everyone.
Here is her Elmo birthday cake
