Uncle Kevin comes to town!

My brother, Kevin, stopped by today. You know, it's kind of funny, before Logan was born, I think he had been to our house maybe twice... I'm beginning to think he's not stopping by to see me!

Preparing for takeoff

Here are a few photos of Logan in her jumperoo. I lovingly call it the spaceshuttle. It just looks like it's ready to land on Mars. Logan seems to like it. She also loves to talk to froggy.

I have a new coat!

Logan tried on her new coat this morning. It may finally be getting chilly enough to wear it. =)
For those of you that have not seen Logan's trademark "stone face," here it is.

We just got back from Publix and she smiled at two people. Typically, she stares and takes everything in. We went to Stein Mart yesterday and she was the hit of the store.

Woohoo!

Logan had her blood work done today. Thankfully, it was only a heel prick this time. Why didn't they do this every time instead of drawing from her arm? Anyway, I digress, Dr. Mac called and said Lo's cortisol levels are in the normal range but they are low. This means her adrenal gland is functioning as it should and should continue to produce normal amounts of cortisol.

Layman terms: We can be somewhat normal again. Hence, woohooo!!! I will probably still be paranoid just because I can't help it. I bet you would be too after 5 months of worrying about germs!

Logan was very excited about the news and celebrated by eating a jar of squash and a full serving of cereal for lunch and an entire jar of bananas for dinner. She was quite hungry. She cried when it was all gone.

Where have I been???

I guess I kind of forgot about our little blog. I have decided I'm actually going to keep up with it on a somewhat daily basis.
So, you ask, what has been going on in our world?
Well, Logan, came off of the prednisone in early September. Since then, we have been waiting for her cortisol levels to come back up. We go tomorrow am for more bloodwork. If everything checks out, we will be able to hang out with other children and do normal things! woohooo.

We went to Puerto Rico at the beginning of October for Jordan's sister's wedding. We had alot of fun, but we definitely missed Logan. My parents had a blast keeping her!

Logan is starting to sit on her own. I will post some pictures later.

Please remember to check back, I promise I'll keep up with the blog. =)
