Hanging out with cousin Everett

Giving Everett a shot. It's the only way we could get her to sit for just a second for a picture!

A rare moment where Logan sat still.
At the zoo... checking out the giraffes.
Borrowing Everett's hat.
Fits just right!
Riding on the carousel with grandmama.
With Everett and grandaddy.

Logan was very sweet to Everett. She even brought him toys and let him have pretend drinks from her cup or pretend bites of her snack. This is definitely encouraging considering that baby brother will be here very soon!

silly girl

Not much has been going on around here... We enjoyed a little bit of snow last week. It didn't stay for too long, but long enough for us to see it. Logan has really gotten into Elmo. We're really not sure how because she doesn't watch Sesame Street. We think it's from her diapers. One of her favorite things to do is to go through and look at each one to see which character is on them. Of course, her favorite character is Elmo. Why do all kids love Elmo?! Being the sucker that I am, I bought her an Elmo dvd and have allowed her to watch it in the car. Big mistake! Elmo is requested all the time now. Occasionally, she is allowed to watch it, but definitely not all the time. This girl is crazy about Elmo!

So long BOB, hello Phil!

Since #2 is coming in a few short weeks, we opted to sell the most fabulous jogging stroller in the world. I'm telling you, I'm going to miss this thing. I kept asking Jordan if he were also going to miss it and he looked at me like I was crazy. Finally, he said yes so I would hush. I put it on craigslist Wed night and by Thur morning, someone had responded. These things sell like hotcakes! So, yesterday, we met up with the folks to make the sale. Logan is also going to miss it, too. I taught her to say "bye BOB." Again, Jordan just shook his head.

Soooooo, now that we've sold the BOB, we're getting a new stroller! ...Hence, hello Phil ! The new stroller is a double stroller of sorts. It's pretty cool in that it can be a single or a double stroller depending on how you set it up. Just the other day, Logan exhibited her non-skills of going in a store without a stroller. This display included slithering all over the floor and running into the back room. I was mortified and after that I was definitely sure that she still needed to be strapped into a stroller on outings. Now comes the important decision of choosing a color! =)

In baby#2 developments, we have a tentative date for his arrival! I will have a scheduled c-section on March 16. Three days after Logan's second birthday! Everything is going well, but it's crazy how this baby craves ice cream twice a day!

And here are two more pictures of Logan...

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year everyone! I hope you've all eaten your blackeye peas, greens and pork!

Here are some more pictures from Christmas...

While we were in Augusta, I got to eat brunch with the girls. I don't get to see them often and especially not all at the same time. Needless to say, we had a great time! Also, my grandmother came to stay for a few days. We definitely don't get to see her very much so it is always a special time when she can come visit. This time, she brought her dog, Joy. Joy is a Chihuahua. Logan was convinced she was a cat and proceeded to shriek (meow) every time she saw her. Try convincing a 21 mth old that Joy is a dog!

Having brunch with the girls.

Logan was helping Lolly undecorate the Christmas tree. Check out those super cute shoes. Thanks auntie Julie!

Again, it was not easy to get Logan to sit still for a picture....
....so, we gave her some (very watered-down) juice and let her sit in the rocking chair!

Merry Christmas, continued

Checking out what Santa brought...

Ooooh, maracas!

A kitchen to practice her cooking skills.

Making a pancake.
Looking good!

It was very hard to get a picture with Logan. She was just way too busy!
Riding on Rody Horse.

Cheese! These are probably her two favorite items.

Getting ready to go for a wagon ride.

She LOVES her wagon!

Building with blocks. ....or knocking down daddy's tower.

Check out this neat grocery cart! Don't you love Jordan's hat?!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! We hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. We spent a few nights with Jordan's parents and then a few nights with mine. Logan thoroughly enjoyed being with both sets of grandparents. She also enjoyed her new toys!

Logan loves her doll stroller and she wouldn't take this hat off even though her head was sweating!
Loving on grandaddy's teddy bear.

This girl loves raisins!

Mommy and Grandmama are opening Logan's gift. However, Logan is quite taken with the paper towel roll. Funny how that always happens!
