visiting friends

This is about the only time they sat still. ...except for lunchtime. =)
nan and logan
On tuesday, Logan and I drove to athens to visit nan and lelia. Logan had so much fun playing with lelia's toys and running around their house like a mad woman. It was so nice to have lunch and visit for a little bit.
Sorry this picture is blurry. It's because they are running so fast. (kidding)
ooooooh new toys!
oh wait, here is another one where they are sitting still!

cute hineys
Thanks for having us over, nan!

fun at lolly and papa's

Here are some pictures of Logan at my parents' house. They pretty much let her do what she wanted. Gotta love playing outside in pj's and a diaper. Love her thighs!

fun weekend in atlanta

Jordan and I had a great time last weekend in atlanta. Instead of shopping the entire trip, we decided to do the tourist thing. I believe this was much to jordan's relief! On friday evening, we went to the ga aquarium. It was so so neat! We saw some crazy huge whale sharks and we got to pet a little shark and a sting ray. Saturday morning, we got up bright and early and went to the 'world of coke.' The last time either of us had been was middle school. Since then, they moved to a new location and changed several things. After drinking lots of nasty coke drinks, as jordan insisted on trying each one, we went to the cnn building for a tour. I had been on the cnn tour before but jordan had not. However, the last time I'd been was in middle school. It was interesting to see behind the scenes. So, after those two exciting adventures, one might say they were finished.... but no, we also went to the zoo. If you know jordan, then you may also know that he is a fan of public transportation. He was thrilled to take marta to the zoo. Me, on the other hand, not so much. Just really not my cup o' tea. It took about an hour of studying maps and switching

trains to bus for us to get there. Oh, but what fun we had (please note sarcasm.)

So, after a fun-filled afternoon, we went to a wedding saturday evening. A friend from high school, sara, got married. It was so fun to see old friends. We had a great time.

Sunday morning, we had brunch with sarah, jaime and seth and then met julie and charlie at ikea. That in and of itself could have been the highlight of our trip. One could get lost in that store! I've never seen anything quite like it. Too bad jordan was with me, or I could have done lots of damage! (kidding, sort of...)

Overall, we had a nice time but we definitely missed logan. Logan had an absolute blast with my parents. She is very busy, to say the least. Every time I called, they were doing something different. We were glad to get home to miss lo.

walking and playing in cabinets

Here are some pictures of Logan soon after waking from a nap. She insisted on putting on her shoes as soon as she got up!

One of Logan's favorite things to do is to open cabinets and drawers. I cleaned out a cabinet in the kitchen just for her. She has enjoyed playing and getting inside of it!

fun at the lake

Jordan's parents recently purchased a house at the lake. We are very excited and have enjoyed swimming and riding on my brother's boat. Thanks, Kev! =) These pictures were taken last weekend and believe it or not, I've been trying all week to post them. Blogger is being especially slow!
Logan loves the water and enjoys splashing and 'bulldozing' around in her ladybug. We went back today to let Woogy swim and Logan really got a kick out of watching him.

she's a walkie talkie!

That's right, friends! Logan is WALKING!!!

We are thrilled! She started walking last Wednesday and hasn't looked back. I got her first steps on video, but haven't taken any pictures. Don't you worry, I'll have plenty to make up for it!

She is very proud of herself. Jordan and I just cannot believe how she has changed so much in just this last week. She is definitely a little person with a big personality!

She has decided that she loves shoes. While digging in a dresser drawer, she found a few pairs of old, outgrown shoes and brought them to me so I could put them on her. Once she saw that they wouldn't fit, she had a total meltdown. She also must carry around her shoes if they aren't on her feet. Silly girl!

I'll update later with some actions shots of Logan walking. =)

riding on the truck

One of Logan's favorite toys is a dump truck. She just loves it and of course, Jordan loves it because it is a truck and not a pink barbie car.
Logan loves her hats. Notice how hard she is working, gotta have that tongue sticking out!
