oh wait, it's ANOTHER day at the zoo!

My mom came up last week with some friends and their children/grandchildren to go to the zoo. So, of course Logan and I had to join them. Thank goodness for that zoo membership, g-ma Lynda! We can definitely wear the zoo out. I think the animals are starting to remember us...

Logan had a good time watching all the children. She especially enjoyed Mr. Aiden and his great entertainment!
The last picture was right before we left. Do you think she looks tired?! Guess how long she napped when we got home.... 35 mins! Woohoo! This little girl thinks she doesn't need naps!

Another day at the zoo

Here are some pics from last Saturday at the zoo. I just love the one of Logan and Jordan. So sweet!

Don't you just love Logan's 'leg-lift' poses? =)

For the sake of anonymity (is that a word), I am changing the url for our blog. Can't have the crazies knocking on our door. Thank goodness, we have Woogy to protect us.

The show will go on...

I have just gotten news that my good friend, Nan, is retiring her blog. While I am very sad she has made this decision, I am not following in her footsteps. Sure, I only have 5 blog readers, but that is 5 people that depend on me for quality blogworthy reading. Hopefully, someone else will step up to the plate and start blogging... hint, hint...

I like blogs, incase you didn't know. Here are two that I read-

http://www.confessionsofacfhusband.com/ This is a blog about an amazing couple and their teeny tiny baby. Please read it and pray for them. I seriously check it at least twice a day.

http://www.itsababynotbrainsurgery.blogspot.com/ This is just too funny. It's a labor and delivery nurse's blog. good stuff.

Logan is napping right now. She is highly dissappointed as we were heading out of the house this morning to go check out a preschool with the neighbor when our car wouldn't start. Jordan thinks it's the battery. What else could it be? The car is only two years old. Anyway, we are putting Logan in a Mother's Day Out program next fall for two days a week. I think she will love it. Hopefully, we will be able to check it out soon...

For now, I've been singing this to Jordan:
Married man, married man
drives around in a minivan....

He isn't too amused. Also, whenever we see a minivan behaving badly on the road it is most definitely always a man. Go figure!

Monday night musings

Nursing isn't quite the same once baby gets teeth.
Also, nursing isn't quite the same once baby knows how to use said teeth while laughing.

Is organic the new no-carb fad?
Now, that Logan is eating more finger foods, I have become concerned with whether I should buy organic this and that. I'm beginning to think it's a marketing scam to make more money. On another note, I have always washed fruits and veggies with soap before eating them. To Jordan's dismay, I emailed the pediatrician to see what she thought about buying organic fruits and veggies. She said as long as I wash them with dish detergent that regular fruits and veggies would be fine to give Logan. Jordan now thinks the pediatrician is as crazy as I am!

Do all dogs chase shadows and smoosh tomatoes on the carpet?

Is my mom the only dedicated blog reader I have??? If you're out there, please leave a comment.

I can't believe my baby girl will be a year old next month! This time last year, Jordan was dragging me to breastfeeding classes and he loved every minute of it!

Yay for new friends!

I really don't have many mom friends. Yes, we know folks that have kids. Most of them aren't Logan's age. However, the other day, while Logan and I were on our weekly trip to Target, I ran into a girl that was in my childbirth class. We exchanged numbers and have since chatted on the phone exchanging advice and ideas. About a week ago, they came over to play for a bit and last week we went to the zoo. It really is nice to get out of the house and hang out with another mom.

Here is Logan and her friend, Caroline, at the zoo. Can you tell that they were mesmorized by the monkeys?!

Baby, you can drive my car

Yep, those are bananas on her face.

Logan isn't too sure about driving her car just yet.

Logan had another check up with the dermatologist in Charleston about her hemangioma. He says it looks great and would like to see us again in August. Yay!
