stubborn baby!
A stubborn but healthy baby! The cord was between the baby's legs the entire time. The doctor even tried to get him/her to move.... nothing!
He said I would have another ultrasound in about 7 or 8 weeks so maybe we'll find out then. Or, maybe not!
Bummer!

the big ultrasound is coming!
I started this pregnancy saying that we weren't going to find out the gender of this baby. Jordan just smiled and said ok. ...knowing all along that I'd change my mind. Ha! He knows me all too well. I'm so nosy, I just have to know!
This thursday is the big day!
So, in honor of 'the big day,' I have two polls up. One is a gender poll and the other is a name poll. Don't forget to vote!
Also, you can vote for a girl and a boy name. Not just one. =)
Oh, and tyricus and precious aren't for real. Come on folks!

grandmama spends the night
Jordan's mom came up to spend the night so we could go out to eat by ourselves. It has become quite painful as of late to go out to eat with Logan. It was wonderful to be able to go out to a nice restaurant and eat without having to worry about when Logan was going to start screaming and throwing food!

hollywood
Logan recently received a pair of sunglasses as a favor for a birthday party. She thinks they are the greatest! She has gotten very good at putting them on.
wearing them on top of my head like mommy

the future is bright!
the pumpkin patch
We went to the pumpkin patch last weekend to pick out a pumpkin. Logan was not really impressed. Her favorite thing was a child-sized rocking chair. Oh well, maybe she will enjoy it more next year!
18 month checkup
Logan had her 18 month checkup a few weeks ago. She now weighs 24lbs 6oz and is 32.5in long.
I believe both of those are in the 50th percentile. I can't remember what her head circumference was, but it was also in the 50th percentile. She didn't get any shots this time but, we'll have to go back to get the flu shot in a few weeks.
She will go for her two year checkup when we bring the new baby in for his/her first checkup!
Last week, Logan started running a fever on Sunday evening. She continued to run a fever on Monday but acted completely fine. On Tuesday morning, I took her to the pedi and it turns out the little stinker had strep throat. So, after a few doses of amoxicillin, she's feeling much better. She was glad to get to go back to 'school' on Thursday!

Logan's first job!
Logan loves to take Zoe for walks. Zoe isn't very uuumm secure with this situation as Logan is quite unpredictable. However, Logan did a great job and was very upset when we took the lead back.
and- One more picture. One that Jordan is very proud of. He took it himself. She's so gangsta, isn't she?
She is always very cordial to the neighbors. She loves to say "hey!" as she waves frantically. This time, I was not quite sure who she was waving to because there wasn't anyone outside! =)

when lolly comes to town...
...she brings lots of fun stuff! Logan is pumped about her new sandbox that lolly hunted down for her. Apparently, sandboxes are a 'seasonal' item that can only be purchased during the summer months. Lolly looked everywhere for a sandbox and finally found one and brought it to Miss L. Logan is thrilled about it. Right now, it is in our family room filled with balls. Don't worry, we plan on buying some sand tomorrow and putting it outside. For now, Logan loves having a ball pit in the house!
Whoa! Check this out!I've got to get in here!
Also, Lolly brought Logan some very fun 'squeaky shoes.' Every time Logan walks, her shoes squeak. She is so thrilled about them. She marches in place as fast as she can so she can squeak. Logan wore them when we went to eat lunch and there was a table of men that we walked by. One of them said he thought she was riding a pogo stick in the restaurant! These are by far her favorite shoes!
Also, please note the strategically placed pillows under the bar stool. While it's not the latest in home design, it sure does keep Logan in the family room and Woogy out! =)
Logan and the 'doggies'
Last Saturday, we went to a birthday party for a friend who turned five. At the party, there were miniature horses for the children to ride. We knew Logan would just love seeing the horses, and we were right! As soon as we walked into their yard, Logan shrieked with joy and started yelling, "doggy! doggy!"
We (Jordan) spent the majority of the time running after Logan while she chased the horses. She had a blast laughing and 'talking' about the horses. She told her daddy that she'd like to have horses at her 2nd birthday party!
